Oh, darling december - it's a lovely piece about december and what I feel....or felt.... It's part from my "The Seasons"

I have begun a new musical journey: to compose a piece for every month of the year. Twelve fragments, twelve soundscapes, each carrying the light, the colors, and the breath of its time. Every month has its own rhythm — sometimes quiet, sometimes intense — and through music I try to capture this constant transformation. Autumn, for me, is the season of maturity and reflection. September becomes a Second Spring, when leaves ignite in fiery hues like fleeting blossoms. October is wrapped in gold and nostalgia, while November carries the stillness of nature preparing for winter. Together, these works will form a complete cycle — a suite of the seasons, a sonic story of time passing.

"Clair de Lune" is a solo piano piece, a nocturne in C minor, evoking the atmosphere of a quiet night under a full moon. The music flows with gentle introspection, inviting the listener into a world of silence, shadow, and subtle emotion. Its delicate phrases shimmer like moonlight on still water, blending melancholy with moments of serene beauty.

This arrangement of the Overture from The Marriage of Figaro (W. A. Mozart) is crafted especially for solo organ, preserving the energy, liveliness, and playful spirit of the original orchestral score. The organ’s bright registrations emulate the brilliance of the strings and winds, with fast, sparkling manual passages and a light, supportive pedal line. The main theme is presented clearly, while the fugal sections are adapted to flow naturally on the organ, showcasing both the instrument’s color and the music’s vitality. The arrangement maintains the overture’s quick tempo and rich texture, offering the performer both technical challenges and expressive opportunities. The melody sighs with unspoken goodbyes, drifting gently between tenderness and regret, until it dissolves into silence—like a shadow vanishing into the mist.

The ballad unfolds with a somber, singing violin line that gradually grows in intensity, showcasing both virtuosity and heartfelt lyricism. Its passionate outbursts, gentle rubato, and poignant climaxes reflect the composer’s own struggles and patriotism, as well as his short and tragic life. Today, it remains a favorite among violinists worldwide and a musical symbol of Romanian soul and identity.

La Valse Nostalgique is a wistful dance through time, where each note carries echoes of lost memories. Flowing between tenderness and melancholy, it paints a scene of an old ballroom, fading photographs, and a fleeting embrace of the past.
